How to visit the art works of OCA

OCA offers an experiential nature trail where art, architecture and landscape dialogue with each other, providing an immersive experience through which to question and rethink the way we inhabit the world.

At OCA you will find a spectacular exhibition space within which you can freely visit the exhibition “Art is wow!” curated by Fondazione Arte Dynamo, and a nature trail accessible only through a guided tour (at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.) to be booked 48 hours in advance, featuring works by some of the most important contemporary architects and artists such as Alejandro Aravena, Stefano Boeri, Mariangela Gualtieri and Michele De Lucchi, Kengo Kuma, Davide Quayola, Davis Svensson, Pascale Marthine Tayou and Matteo Thun.

The temporary exhibition curated by Fondazione Arte Dynamo and the installations in the permanent collection can be visited from June 15 to Nov. 7, 2025.

Guided tours must be booked 48 hours in advance.

Wednesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Reachable on foot in about 30 min from the parking lot

Tickets can be purchased online and at the ticket office. Tickets purchased online are non-refundable, but by contacting us by e-mail you can indicate the new date you have chosen for the guided tour.

Simple rules of behavior

To make the experience of OCA, within the Oasi Dynamo nature reserve, more enjoyable and comfortable, here are some simple rules to follow:

Maintain conduct that ensures the safety of everyone along the trail.
Always follow the instructions given by our environmental guide.
Stay on the designated trail at all times.
Respect the artworks without touching them.
Dogs must always be kept on a leash.
Do not leave any kind of litter. Dedicated waste containers are available at the visitor center.
Smoking and lighting fires are strictly prohibited within the Reserve.
It is recommended to wear suitable footwear and clothing for hiking.
It is the sole responsibility of each visitor to ensure that their health conditions are adequate for the activity.
Be aware that natural hazards may arise from adverse weather, falling trees or branches, free-roaming animals, and the absence of artificial lighting.
OCA and Oasi Dynamo disclaim any liability for accidents or damage to persons or property caused by carelessness or failure to comply with these behavioural rules.

Where is the ticket office?

The ticket office is located inside OCA’s museum space, after walking the entire trail from the parking lot.

Is reservation necessary?

The temporary exhibition curated by Fondazione Arte Dynamo can be visited for free and without reservation.

To visit, however, the art path, you must make reservations 48 hours in advance for the guided tour (available on open days at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.) and purchase tickets online or on-site at the ticket office.

Tickets purchased online are nonrefundable, but by contacting us by e-mail you can indicate the new date you have chosen for the guided tour.

How long is the visit?

The OCA experience begins at the parking area in Croce di Piteglio, where visitors leave their cars to reach the different exhibition spaces. Here you can freely enter the former barn, converted into an exhibition gallery, where you can visit the exhibition “Art is wow!” curated by Fondazione Arte Dynamo and wait for guided tours of the art trail to begin (at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.). We recommend that you allow at least two hours to fully enjoy the immersive experience of OCA.

What can I visit with the admission ticket?

With an admission fee, you can visit the art trail in the woods, accompanied by our guides (at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. booking 48 hours in advance at the email address [email protected].). The “Art is wow!” exhibition, curated by Dynamo Art Foundation, can be visited free of charge during OCA’s opening hours.

Is it accessible for the disabled?

The artistic path is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or disabled people, who can still visit the exhibition and access the spaces of ‘Casa Luigi’ with an internal shuttle service that must be requested in advance via email and confirmed by our staff.

What methods of payment are allowed?

At both the ticket office and the restaurant ‘Casa Luigi’ you can pay with contacts as well as credit cards.

Are guided tours planned?

You can only visit the path of artworks by booking a guided tour (available on opening days at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.) 48 hours in advance at the email address [email protected].
