Discover the walking path in the forest

How to get us

OCA, is located within the Oasi Dynamo reserve. Here, in what until recently was a huge barn, is the exhibition space that this year hosts the exhibition “L’Arte è WOW!”, curated by Fondazione Arte Dynamo, and the art trail in the woods, under the artistic direction of Emanuele Montibeller, with works by Alejandro Aravena, Stefano Boeri, Mariangela Gualtieri and Michele De Lucchi, Kengo Kuma, Davide Quayola, Davis Svensson, Pascale Marthine Tayou and Matteo Thun.

The artistic path is accessible only through a guided tour (at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.) to be booked 48 hours in advance by emailing [email protected], while access to the exhibition is free.

You leave the car and immediately enter the forest: this is how the OCA experience begins

OCA is not a space like any other. Leaving the car at the parking lot at Croce di Piteglio, with a pleasant walk of about 2.5 kilometers, you will cross the forest and finally arrive in the clearing that houses the exhibition space that can be visited freely, and the starting point for the guided tours by reservation (at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.) that will take you to discover the artistic path.

The close-to-nature experience that OCA offers begins even before you arrive: the walk to the exhibition spaces is already part of the experience.

inside the Visitor’s Center, there is the ‘Casa Luigi’ restaurant, which offers top-quality dining options for lunch and also has a cafeteria for a stop or snack. Restaurant service from Friday to Sunday, 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m, Cafeteria service from Friday to Sunday, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.

FAQ

The OCA experience begins with a walk, surrounded by nature, that takes about 30 minutes to reach the different exhibition spaces. Here you can enter the former barn, converted into an exhibition gallery, where you can visit the exhibition “L’Arte is WOW!” curated by Arte Dynamo Foundation and wait for guided tours of the art path to begin (at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.). We recommend that you allow at least two and a half hours to fully enjoy the immersive experience of OCA.

The artistic path is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or disabled people, who can still visit the exhibition and access the spaces of ‘Casa Luigi’ with an internal shuttle service that must be requested in advance via email and confirmed by our staff.
